A Tutorial about Embodied Interactive Virtual Characters has been accepted at IEEE VR 2020

A tutorial proposal, “Embodied Interactive Virtual Characters for Human-Subjects Studies,” has been accepted at IEEE VR 2020.
SREAL members (Kangsoo Kim, Nahal Norouzi, and Austin Erickson) will be presenting the tutorial on March 22, 2020 in Atlanta, GA.
The tutorial will cover prior works and recent trends in interactive virtual character research, and provide instructions for developing a simple interactive virtual character that can be controlled by conventional 2D user interfaces using Unity, considering human-in-the-loop studies.
